Internet Explorer 1は1995年8月24日にマイクロソフトが公開したWindows拡張ソフトウェアPlus! for Windows 95に同梱されました。

IEの後継ブラウザ Microsoft Edgeは元々はIEぽいロゴでしたが、2020年1月に公開された新 Microsoft EdgeのロゴはIEとは似つかぬもの。
この瞬間に「IEは完全に終わった」と思いました。

私はほとんどWindows 95の記憶はなく（家にはあった）、1998年にWindows 98が発売され、1999年にリリースされたInternet Explorer 5からいじりまくったように思います。
インターネットは1分いくらの電話回線を使用していた時代は画像もなくシンプルなものでした（画像はなしか低画質が喜ばれた）
Adobe Flash Playerも終了

個人的には「iPhone（iOS）非対応」が原因かと思っています。
この画面も過去のもの。
いつの間にやら「クリックしてAdobe Flash Playerを有効にします」と表示されるようになり、2度押ししないと動作しなくなっていました。
個人的に気になっていたのが、AmazonアソシエイトのFlashウィジェット。無事に10月に廃止されました。
